Good nights and magnificent memories.

This week we worked towards our be well badge by thinking about what makes a good night time routine. We mimed evening activities for other sixes to guess, we discussed if going on an iPad before bed was good idea or would reading a book be better? We made a good night plan. Which the children brought home.

We improved our magnificent memories with Snowy and Tawny Owl by using a counters method to memorise a telephone number. We used cereal. It worked too as long as the girls didn’t eat it! They also tested each other to memorise with remembering unfamiliar address. That was difficult but the Brownies were up for the challenge.

Flag Bearer.
Every week we are nominating a flag bearer to hold our unit flag at the beginning and the end of our meetings. This is a chance to have a turn and to practise carrying the flag for more formal occasions. Snowy Owl chooses a Brownie a week to do this important job. Everyone will get a turn.

Next week please bring along an empty 500ml plastic bottle. If you manage to have any spares then bring them along please for others to use if you don’t mind.

Thanks
Brown Owl.
